Ciasto z borówkami

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Biscuit:
    • Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Gradually add sugar, and then egg yolks. Finally, sift in the flour and gently mix with a spatula until combined.
    • Pour the batter into a 24×24 cm baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Strawberry Cream:
    • Dissolve gelatin in hot water, mix well, and set aside to cool.
    • In a bowl, combine the strawberry-flavored cheese and yogurt. Mix until smooth. Gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture and stir.
    • Spread the strawberry cream evenly over the cooled biscuit, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Prepare the Vanilla Cream:
    • Dissolve the gelatin in hot water, mix, and set aside to cool.
    • In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff. Gradually add the vanilla-flavored cheese, mixing continuously.
    • Add the cooled gelatin and mix well. Spread the vanilla cream over the strawberry layer and refrigerate for another hour.
  4. Prepare the Jelly Layer:
    • Dissolve the currant-flavored jelly in 700 ml hot water and allow it to cool slightly.
    • Place the blueberries on top of the cake and pour the slightly cooled jelly over them.
    • Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until fully set.

Serving and Storage Tips:

  • For the best taste, serve this cake chilled after it has set completely.
  • The cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To preserve its freshness, keep it covered.
  • It’s perfect for family gatherings or as a sweet treat for any special occasion.

Variations:

  • You can substitute the strawberry yogurt and cheese with any other fruit flavors, such as raspberry or peach, for a different taste.
  • For a richer flavor, you could add a layer of whipped cream between the layers of the vanilla cream.
